Thursday Night = Grey's Anatomy (Wet n Wild - Gray's Anatomy)

#1 reason I love Thursdays? Cause Grey's Anatomy is on! Grey's Anatomy is the only show right now that I follow religiously. I like many shows but Grey's is the only one I MUST watch each week. So I admittedly only bought this polish for it's name. When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I use to looove Wet n Wild, they were 99 cents and when they were on sale they were only 69 cents.  My mom would let me buy like 5 of them at a time and I'd keep them all in a little rubbermaid bin. Such good memories. Now a days I have very new Wet n Wild polishes.

I used 3 coats to get something not so sheer and no top coat. Gray's Anatomy is part of Wet n Wilds collection of polishes that are gimmicky named after TV shows. It's a sheer duochrome. To me it's a pinkish/grey/green. Very pretty and subtle. Not an overly flashy polish. I'm really liking it. I would also suggest trying it over black. These are $2.99 CAD / $1.99 US per .5 oz bottle.

Smouldering goodness... Orly - Rococo A-Go-Go (Mineral FX Collection Fall 2011)

Orly recently came out with the Mineral FX Collection. It had 6 new polishes, Stone Cold, Rock Solid, Rock the World, Rock-It, Emberstone, and Rococo A-Go-Go. The gorgeousness is Rococo A-Go-Go a deep raspberry purple with a golden duochrome.

This was $8.99 US at a Sally's Beauty Supply in Washington, it's 18 mL. The price is a little more then the regular price of Orly, I'm not totally sure why they would raise the prices. I haven't seen these in Vancouver yet, but Orly is a little hard to come by here. I suggest trying eBay if you can't find it near you. I used two coats plus a coat of Seche Vite to seal it. It's gorgeous! So worth checking out!

Borghese - Stellare Notte

Like all good duo-chromes this one was hard to capture. I was doing a little shopping in Bellingham, WA over the long weekend and found this gorgeous colour at Rite-Aid. It was $8 US (in Canada Borghese is $14, though I've never seen this colour available here). I've always stayed away from Borghese, the colours never excite me enough to spend $14 and the packaging seemed unappealing. But for some reason I just couldn't walk away with out this polish. I looked it up when I got home, and it's not a new polish because lots of bloggers have posts about it a few years ago.

This was so hard to photograph how really cool this polish is. It's a blueish charcoal polish and depending on how the light hits it, it has emerald and pinkish purple in it. This has quickly become one of my favourite colours for fall. You can see how amazing the bottle looks below. I think this would be quite work appropriate too, which is why I'm liking it so much. It has a very subtle elegance to it.

In Canada Borghese can be found at Shoppers Drug Mart for $14 CND.
